NATIONAL TANG SOO DO ORGANISATION

The NATIONAL TANG SOO DO ORGANISATION is a non profit making group, based on principles & ethics of good manners and common decency. The organisation is run by experienced martial artists who are dedicated to the martial arts.

All our classes are conducted by fully insured qualified Black Belt instructors through our school RYKANDO KWAN MOO SA.

Our main objectives are to:

Promote the Korean martial art, study and practice of Tang Soo Do in Great Britain.

Organise, regulate the martial art, study and practice in Rykando Kwan Moo Sa.

Co-operate with and support National and International organisation having objectives approved by the National Tang Soo Do Organisation.

Act as an advisory body on all matters appertaining to the practice of Tang Soo Do, through liaison with Statutory and Voluntary bodies, news media and other relevant parties.

Provide members with such services and support as may be available through their membership.

Do all such things as are incidental, or conductive to the furtherance of the objectives of the NTSDO.

Rykando Kwan Moo Sa

RYKANDO KWAN MOO SA (The ways and methods of teaching one to many school of martial arts) is much like MOO DUK KWAN (school of martial virtue) as in, the school teaches the traditional Korean martial art of TANG SOO DO.

Rykando also teaches modern self defence methods using realistic techniques. Our methods of modern self-defence are useable by most people whether fit and able or otherwise. Our courses of modern self-defence are funded by the NATIONAL TANG SOO DO ORGANISATION. These approved  courses are conducted in schools and colleges through Local Councils to assist victims of violent crime.

Most people can regularly practice and study Tang Soo Do with Rykando  Kwan Moo Sa male or female, ages from 5yrs to 65yrs.

A new student would normally be allowed to take 4 lessons, then would be asked to make their decision whether to enroll or not. This also gives the opportunity for the Instructor to access whether they would be a suitable student for them to teach in their class.

Membership is renewed yearly and includes a  member to member insurance cover and a BNMAA martial arts licence.

CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

The Member will:

Conduct their self in an orderly manner at all times.

Not discriminate against any fellow human being on the basis of race,  religion, sexual orientation, age, gender or mental and or physical capabilities.

NEVER bring the name of Tang Soo Do, Rykando Kwan Moo Sa or the martial arts in general into disrepute.

The following examples are the type of individuals that would not be allowed to become members. Health & Fitness

Consideration will be given to the suitability of health and fitness of a prospective student. Most medical conditions can be accepted and safe to train i.e. asthma, epilepsy, heart conditions, diabetics, some would say, training could improve certain health conditions, but it depends on how severe the individual's condition is. Hemophilia is the only serious ailment that would automatically be seen as an unsuitable health risk to start training in a normal class. This would be for the individual’s own safety, but it doesn't mean hemophilia suffers cannot practice and study Tang Soo Do. The more serious ailments may require a doctors certificate of approval.

Any medical condition or injury must be report to the instructor before a class begins.

How to Start:

Just come along to a class that suits you. You will be made very welcome by the Instructor and the existing students. New students can come along in loose clothing to start and join in at any time without any obligation.
