The Meaning of RYKANDO KWAN MOO SA The
word RYKANDO literally means “The way of one to many”. “RY”
Taken from Tang Soo Do’s Ryu Pa (style). Ryu Pa means, “The River flows down then spreads into others streams. If the small stream separates from the main river, it will eventually dry
up, as it has no longer a supply of water. “KAN” Implies method or technique. The term KAN, was used in the Korean Yi
Dynasty (1392 to 1907) for one of 18 techniques of Sip Pal Ki (also known
