KWAN MOO SA
Signifies
Honour, Humility, Peace, and Harmony. The Yin – Yang symbol is in the middle, the white section is “Yin” the darker is “Yang”, each has a spot of each other representing neither is complete, therefore the hardest always has a weak area and the softest will always have a hard area. Yin-Yang represents a balance of opposites i.e. fire and water, male and female, soft and hard or heaven and earth. The shaded areas where the black & white meet, represent harmony and compromise. The corn in the wreath represents the basics in our lives and humility. The gold ribbon tying the corn wreath represents a richer side of life, our honour, respectability and the very best of what is available. These types of opposites are in all our lives. We must strive to create a balance with the opposites, we may not always succeed, but like our emblem, we must keep trying.
